Traveling with Style in SA
One of my fave places in San Antonio is the very cool Pearl District. The area is anchored around the Hotel Emma, a gorgeous boutique hotel, with a steam punk vibe. The district is loaded with different types of culinary treats, a few very cute boutiques and a cool book store called Twigs to peruse. This go around, we ate at the wonderful Cured restaurant and sampled their house cured Ruben and cheeseburger. The pastrami was super tender and perfectly seasoned. The fries were crispy and the drinks were tiny and mighty! We shopped a couple of cute boutiques and picked up some adorable finds like a funky handmade headband from Scotland and a silk high waisted skirt. The Pearl District is located close to the River Walk and has lots of places to sit and relax, drink eat or contemplate life.
